- Define their educational
goals, as measured by the students’ indication of their
goal(s) on
the SEC form and discussion of them with a DSS counselor at their
follow-up appointments.
- Identify their academic and
learning modality strengths and weaknesses and adapt their study
strategies accordingly, as measured by either their attendance at
the test results appointment (LD) or by their utilization of the
computer assessment programs available in the CLP or ASC.

Utilize
adaptive technologies according to their educational needs, as
measured by their utilization of the Adaptive Computer Lab and/or
Alternate Media to meet their educational needs.

Communicate
appropriate and timely requests for services in relation to their
educational accommodation needs, as measured by their contacts with
the DSS Office to request their needed accommodations each semester.

Identify
available campus resources to meet their educational needs, as
measured by their identification or utilization of the services of
at least one campus resource area (i.e. Tutoring Center, Writing
Center, Math Lab, Health Center, EOPS, Counseling, Transfer Center,
etc.).
